Deepak’s six-membered family is very poor and his father work in a textile mill in their village. The whole income of the family is 2000 rupee (44 USD / 30 EUR) per month.

Deepak is in the 6th year and although his family is very committed to the studies, due to to the food’s growing prices he will have to start to work next to his father in the textil mill if he doesn’t find a sponsor.

Jagdish lives in an extremely poor eight-membered family in a village. His father works in construction as a workman so that’s why frequently he is away from the family. The whole income of the family is 1500 rupee (33 USD / 22 EUR) per month.

Jagdish is in the 6th year in the school. The family is very committed to the studies and although they are poor none of the children work. But it’s getting more difficult for them to earn enough money for living so without help Jagdish will have to start to work.

Puja’s nine-membered family is very poor. Her father work in a textile mill. The whole income of the family is 1500 (33 USD / 22 EUR) per month.

Puja is in the 6th year in the school but beacuse of her family’s financial situation she will have to stop her studies if she can not find a sponsor.

Rahul’s eight-membered very poor family lives  in a village. His father works in a textile mill and the whole income of the family is 1500 rupee (33 USD / 22 EUR) per month.

Beacuse of his family’s financial situation Rahul had to stop his studies several times to work. That’s why although he is a very good student he is only in the 6th year in the school.

Krishna Kumar, 13 years old (id.: 30.)

Krishna lives in a seven-membered family in a village. His father is an agricultural worker and the older children have to help him many times. The family’s whole income is around 2500 rupee (55 USD / 38 EUR) per month.

Krishna Kumar is in the 7th year in the school but the droughty weather makes their life insecure. Wihtout help he won’t be able to continue his studies.
