Pawan Kumar Maurya, 5 years old  (id: 11.)

Pawan lives in a very poor family. His father has only temporary jobs as a decorator (painter) and his mother works as a cleaning lady. Income of the whole family per month is 2000 rupee (44 USD / 30 EUR) but they have to pay 750 rupee (11 EUR) for renting their small room.

Pawan is very intelligent and he would start his studies but his family doesn’t have money for the school fee. 

 

Naina Mishra, 15 years old  (id: 12.)

She was found on the street by her foster-parents. In spite of being very poor they adopted her and they treated her like their own and they live together with their sons. Her father is a priest in a very poor area and the income of the whole family per month is 3000 rupee (66 USD) but the cost of the rented room with current expenses is 1600 rupee (35 USD).

Naina is in the 9th year in a government school and she is a very good student. She would like to continue her studies but she doesn’t have chance because her parents don’t have money for a better school or for the cost of continuing her studies. In this situation she will have to get married soon.

Sanshya Mishra, 14 years old (id: 13.)

Sanshya lives with her brother, her adopted sister and her parents. Her father is a priest in a very poor area and the income of the whole family per month is 3000 (66 USD / 45 EUR) but the cost of the rented room with current expenses is 1600 rupee (35 USD).

Sanshya is in the 9th year in a government school, and like his sister she studies very well. She would like to continue her studies but she doesn’t have chance because her parents don’t have money for the cost of continuing her studies. In this situation she will have to get married soon.

 

Aashutosh Mishra, 13 years old (id: 14.)

Aashutosh lives with his sister, his adopted sister and her parents. Her father is a priest in a very poor area, the income of the whole family per month is 3000 rupee (66 USD / 45 EUR) but the cost of the rented room with current expenses is 1600 rupee (35 USD).

Aashutosh is in the 7th year in a government school, he studies very well. The family is very committed to studying but if he doesn’t find a sponsor he will have to stop studying and he will have start to work.

 

 

Radhika, 13 years old (id: 15.)

Radhika is from a very poor rural family and all 9 of them live together. Her father works in constructions as a workman. One of her brothers has to work already in a textill mill. The income of the whole family per month is 3000 (66 USD / 45 EUR).

Radhika is in the 6th year in the school. She and her brothers and sisters can go to school now but it’s getting more difficult to put up the money for the school fees. If she doesn’t find a sponsor next year she will have to stop studying and she will have to get married..
