Siba lives in a nine-membered, very poor family in a village. Her father works as weaver and the whole income of the family is only 2000 rupee (44 USD) per month.

The family is very committed to her studies and although they are poor none of the children work. But it’s getting more difficult for them to earn enough money for living so without help Siba can not start the sixth class in this year.

Ranjana lives in a seven-membered, very poor family in a village. Her father works as a carpenter, the whole income of the family is only 2000 rupee (44 USD) per month.

Ranjana would like to start the seventh class in this year,  but the family can not afford the costs of her studies, so she will have to give up her studies and she will have to work or get married soon.

Rakseh lives in a seven-membered, very poor family in a village. His father works as a carpenter. The whole income of the family is only 2100 rupee (46 USD) per month.

Rakesh would like to start the seventh class in this year, but the family can not pay the school expenses. If we can not find a supporter for him he will have to work soon.

Zakir Husain, 13 years old (id.: 59.)

Zakir lives in a sixteen-membered, very big and very poor family in a village. His father and his older brother work in a silk workshop, but the whole income of the family is only 5000 rupee (110 USD) per month.

Zakir finished the seventh class, but due to the economic situation and the growing prices of food if he doesn’t find a sponsor he will have to start to work .

Mohammad Imran, 14 years old (id.: 60.)

Mohammad lives in an eight-membered, very poor family in the city. His father works as barber. The whole income of the family is only 3000 rupee (66 USD) per month.

Mohammad’s parents are totally uneducated but they know how important the school for his son if he wants to fullfill his dream and become an electrican. Mohammad would like to start the sixth class in this year, but his parents won’t be able to pay it.
