Sibati, 14 years old (id.: 21.)


Sibati lives in a ten-membered poor family in a village. Her father and her only brother work in the same textile mill, whole income of the family is 2500 rupee (55 USD / 38 EUR) per month.

Sibati still goes to school but the family can not pay the costs of her studies, so she will have to give up her studies and she will have to get married.

Mila, 12 years old (id.: 22.)

Mila’s family is six-membered, and although they are poor parents try to protect their children from the work, so none of them children work now. Her father works in a textile mill and the whole income of the family is 1500 rupee (33 USD / 22 EUR) per month.

Mila is in the 7th year int he school but as the oldest daughter in the family if she can not find a sponsor she will have to stop her studies and get married.

Mamta, 11 years old (id.: 23.)

Mamta lives in a ten-membered very poor family in a village. Her parents have to take care of their 6 children and their parents as well who are not able to work. But there is no children in the family who would work because they do their best to give the opportunity to their children to study. Her father works in a textile mill and the whole income of the family is 2000 rupee (44 USD / 30 EUR) per month.

Mamta is in the 6th year in the school but due to the economic situation soon she will have to stop her studies because her parents won’t be able to pay it.

Sharmila, 16 years old (id.: 24.)

Sharmila’s seven-membered family is very poor. Her father and one of her brothers work in a textile mill in a village, whole income of the family is 2500 rupee (55 USD / 38 EUR) per month.

Sharmila is handicapped because she can walk only with a crutch. Now she is in the 9th year in the school and she is a very good student. Her parents want her to continue her studies. She will be able to live a honourable life if she finishes her studies. Unfortunately the family doesn’t have enough money to give this opportunity so she needs a sponsor for achieving her goal.

Dilip, 11 years old (id.: 25.)

Dilip lives in an eight-membered very poor family in a village. His father and one his brothers work but the whole income of the family is only 1000 rupee (22 USD / 15 EUR) per month due to their old debit’s usury.

Dilip is in the 6th year int he school but If he can not find a sponsor he will have to start to work in the textil mill.
