Amit, 13 years old (id: 16.)

Amit is from a very poor rural family and all 12 of them live together. His father works in a textile mill with his three brothers and sisters. The income of the whole family per month is 5000 (110 USD / 75 EUR).

Amit is in the 6th year in the school. Now he can attend school but due to the economic situation and the growing   prices of food if he doesn’t find a sponsor he will have to start to work and give up studying in the next year.

Mamta Bind, 14 years old (id: 17.)

Mamta’s family is very poor. Her father takes care of his 5 sons and daughters in a small village. Her father and her brother work in a textile mill. The income of the whole family per month is 1500 rupee (33 USD / 23 EUR).

Mamta is in the 6th year in the school but after school she has to keep house.  If she doesn’t find a sponsor she has to give up studying and she has to get married.

Govind, 17 years old (id.: 18.)

Govind lives in a very poor family and all 6 of them live in small village. His father and one his brothers work in a textile mill. The income of the whole family per month is 3000 rupee (66 USD / 45 EUR).

Govind had had to work for several years but he started to study again two years ago and now he is in the 8th year int he school. Unfortunately because of the economic situation if he doesn’t find a sponsor he will have to go back to work and he will have to give up his studies.

Babita, 11 years old (id.: 19.)

Babita lives in a very poor family and all 10 of them live in small village. His father works in a textile mill and his several sisters work at home as dressmakers. The income of the whole family per month is 2000 rupee (44 USD / 30 EUR).

Babita is in the 6th year but soon he has to give up going to school and he has to start to work.

Mamta, 14 years old (id.: 20.)

Mamta lives in a five-membered very poor family. Her father works as a rickshaw-driver and her one of her brothers work in a textile-mill. The income of the whole family per month is 2500 rupee (55 USD / 38 EUR).

Mamta is in the 8th year in the school. Because of the family’s comittement to studying she can study in school but the school fees mean big problem to the family. If she doesn’t find a sponsor she will have to give up her studies and she will have to get married.
